Our own Matt Barr is jumping out of the airwaves and into Hoxton Arches next week as he dons his Looking Sideways podcast poncho to host two Creative Exchange workshops with ACM pals Db. And you could – nay, should – be there to enjoy it. Read the latest LS newsletter below to find out how you can snag a ticket before they go. (Note: podcast poncho may or may not be in attendance). -

We’re hosting a live Creative Exchange in London next week!

Yep, if you’ve been tuning into my regular series of Creative Exchanges, organised in association with my pals at Db, you’ll know what a treasure trove of creative intelligence they are, and what a brilliant community has evolved around these monthly digital gatherings.

It’s been going so well we’ve decided to host a two-parter in London next week.

I’ll be hosting two panels next Thursday June 13th at Hoxton Arches in London.

For first panel, How I Broke In, I’ll be interviewing photographer Ron Timehin, Db creative, producer, photographer and filmer Hallvard Kolltveit, and my close pal Lyndsay McLaren, brand expert, producer and the community actionist behind the brilliant Neighbourhood Skate Club, about how they carved out their unique careers.

This one kicks off at 12.30pm (we’ll lob in some food and drink), and as usual is free. I’m releasing tickets for this one early for my Looking Sideways family, so sign up for your free tickets here if you fancy it.

Later that day, for panel two, I’ll be hosting a discussion on Creativity and Community in the Age of AI with Run Dem Crew’s legendary Charlie Dark, Dan Adams, the man behind the forthcoming Read and Destroy book, brilliant photographer and creative Dani KM, and Db’s Senior Creative Vincent Laine.

This session is also free and will kick off at 6.30pm (yep, there will be food and drink). We’ll be releasing the links for tickets this coming Friday. Keep an eye out for the link in this Friday’s regular 10 Things dispatch.

Looking forward to seeing some of the Looking Sideways and Creative Exchange families there in person. Any questions?
