1. Friends-of-the-show Easkey, Sally and Lucy are involved with this open letter from the global surf community calling for a ceasefire in Palestine. Click here to read and sign (yes, I have signed).
2. Rest in peace Benjamin Zephaniah. What a loss this one is.
3. I’ve been caning the BBC Archive on 4 documentaries recently while researching a project I’m working on. They’re just such brilliant journalism and so well produced. I especially enjoyed Mr Lucas’s Diaries, a fantastic documentary by Mark Gatiss about the eponymous civil servant’s experiences as a gay man in Britain during the 50s and 60s.
4. ‘Pedal Steel Noah’ - two young Texan brothers playing covers while their incredibly well-behaved dog smiles along - is my absolute favourite thing on Instagram right now. Watch them in action above, and find out more here.
5. Tom Knox on a mad one, as per.

6. My pal Phil Young has had a ridiculously busy year - here he is with yet another project, this one a film about Black Trail Runners for TCO and Terrex.
7. Torren and Ishka’s latest is now live. What are you waiting for?
8. I think this Ronnie O’Sullivan doc might be one of the best things I’ve watched all year. It’s a pitiless look at his struggle with mental health and depression, and a brilliant expose of what it takes to succeed as an elite sportsperson. The full film is on Amazon Prime and I can’t recommend it highly enough.
9. My pal Lyndsay is back with a special festival Neighbourhood Christmas Special! More above.
10. RIP Shane MacGowan. What a lyricist - A Pair of Brown Eyes is, for me, one of THE great Eighties songs.
